Four year olds, income eligible have first priorities as required by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division. Three year olds, income eligible have second priority. All children must be toilet trained as we do not have the facilities to offer this service to families. All sites have qualified Teachers and Instructional Assistants. The program operates on the Amador Unified School District calendar year. The children have either a breakfast or lunch every day during the three hour program. Educational, reading, and social preparation for Kindergarten are our main goals. We are a parent participation program and ask that parents volunteer if they can.
